Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sign in?
SnoLocal uses Sign in with Apple for secure, private authentication. Tap the Sign In button on the welcome screen and follow the Apple prompts. You can choose to share or hide your email address.
Why does the app ask for my location?
Location access lets us show your position on the map and display nearby events and places. We only use your location while the app is open — never in the background. You can revoke access anytime in Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
How do I add an event to my calendar?
When viewing an event, tap the "Add to Calendar" button. The app will ask for calendar permission if it hasn't already. The event is added directly to your device calendar.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile > Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes your account and associated data from our servers. You can also revoke SnoLocal's access to your Apple ID from your device's Apple ID settings.
The map isn't showing my location. What should I do?
Make sure location permissions are enabled for SnoLocal in Settings > Privacy > Location Services. Select "While Using the App." If the issue persists, try restarting the app.
Is my data shared with anyone?
No. SnoLocal does not sell, share, or trade your personal data with third parties. There are no ads or third-party analytics in the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
